Got the groupon and used it last night.The food is, generally speaking, good: 川椒鸡、椒盐鲜鱿、豉椒大蚬、蚝仔粥 are all okay. I've been eating here for over 10 years and they are of usual standard. The waiters are friendly and helpful as usual. My criticisms will be:1. 葱蟹: a highlight and the most expensive item in the set, but it's definitely not fresh. It's been obviously deep-fried and deep-fried again, so that the claws and the legs dried out seriously. I know maybe we shouldn't ask for too much at that pr

I know maybe we shouldn't ask for too much at that price, but if you're really trying to attract new regular customers, you should do better, given this is one of the signature dish you offer.
2. They serve all dishes all at once, so that when we finished the crab, all the other dishes were cold, curdling and gross. This really doesn't work.
3. No 功夫茶：is it still a Chiuchow restaurant with out 功夫茶 before and after meal? Is the tea really that expensive that you can't offer for gratuity?
All in all, okay for that price. But trust me, if you order a la carte, you'd have better food (albeit paying a bit more, just the crab might cost you $300). This place used to be jammed 10-plus years ago. Now the tables are barely filled even on weekends. They should really try harder.
