Very photogenic decor and food. We came on the fourth day of CNY and was able to secure a booking at 6pm (only walk-in available after 6). The staff wasn’t very friendly but it’s understandable…. 初四咁嘅样啰 Ordered a bunch of Taiwanese staples and all of them were photogenic, so as the seats. The pink-ish seats were allocated only when you made a reservation, otherwise you’d expect to be seated at the blue tables in the middle of the restaurants. Tried the most popular purple dusted egg pancake wrap

Tried the most popular purple dusted egg pancake wrapped with mochi and mashed taro. It’s sweet and yes, it’s very photogenic. The amount of salted egg dices on top was fairly mild and all I could taste was the taro mash and the egg pancake. Not bad, but could be better!
Taiwanese deep fried chicken was in big chunks. Three dipping sauces on the side: truffle; tom yum; and honey mustard. All the three choices were good! Very crispy chicken.
Mentaiko drizzled pan-fried Taiwanese fish cakes. Chewy and delicious, our pregnant friend liked this very much.
We also had pork mince on broiled okra and vegetables; Lu Rou Fan (braised pork mince on rice); and beef noodle soups (mala and sour).
I found the pork mince on the vegetables tasted better than those on the rice, not sure why.
The beef noodles have a few variety and we chose the signature which came with a dollop of beef butter, as you can see the yellow paste on the rim of the bowl, just melt it in the soup for your liking. The fish tofu and deep fried cordyceps flowers were a nice touch.
The showstopper of the meal definitely was this mochi pineapple tart. It was served hot, fresh from the oven, VERY GOOD and it was big in size. We tried both the original and the matcha flavours, I would say the matcha one is a must-try. The OG one tasted like egg tart with sweet shredded pineapple at the bottom, while the matcha one added extra tea taste and depth to the crème and went very well with the mochi and pineapple filling.
