湾仔华南的牛腩是我俩宵夜的首选, 虽说其价钱媲美九记, 而又有不少人的批评, 但至少我俩吃过几次的经历也是不错的. 连皮肥腩外皮爽弹, 而且脂香肉稔, 比九记的肉干味道和口感好得多. 最近再去, 之前因家事要戒食牛肉, 于是我老婆点了鱼丸捞面, 而我就点了星洲炒米.鱼丸捞面的面身够爽, 碗底并没有水汪汪, 证明身沥水做足, 没有碱水味. 通菜份量不少, 而是颜色保持翠绿, 没有哑黑, 吃起来同样爽脆. 鱼丸鱼鲜够, 口感软糯, 没有其他填充物, 相类似的风味, 是搬到西环夏铭记的鱼丸. 星洲炒米外表色水偏浅, 还以为味道很淡, 一吃起来, 香而带微辣, 然后辣劲缓缓从喉咙渗出, 够爽够过瘾. 米粉炒得干爽而不沾油, 吃起来并不油腻, 配料简单, 反正这不主角. 虽然辣劲和辣香很吸引, 探索价二百多元的辣椒酱, 真的令我却步呢!Wah Lam is. Wah Lam is. Famous for her beef brisket at Wan Chai. However I and my wife cannot eat beef recently because of family issue. The fish ball stirred noodles are nice as the texture of fish ball is soft and full of fresh taste from fish. The noodles are firm in texture and no water leaved on the surface which is essential for a perfect Cantonese style stirred noodles. Her chili oil is her signature as well. When fried with the rice noodles, it can be mouth drooling even other ingredients are not tasteful at all.
