How many nights we’ve spent for🍛curry nights & pie nights🥧I thought I would never find this taste anymore in Hong Kong🇭🇰 but The Globe definitely amazed me! Their pies EXACTLY resembled the authentic taste in the UK with many more wonderful flavours like Pork & Apple🍎, Chicken🍗& Leek! Choices of sides are also very British, i.e.🍟chips dipping

Choices of sides are also very British, i.e.🍟chips dipping into the mushy peasThe potato mash is also creamy and seasoned to just right with chives and gravy on the side.

We have picked the Steak and Mushroom flavour, which is the super good deal. The beef chunks are juicy and well flavoured with red wine Mushrooms are also having sufficient earthy taste. The pie pastry is short crusted instead of puff pastry, but it is never soggy even being filled with sauce.

The food quality here is actually BEYOND ordinary pub food The other main we have got was chicken supreme - tender and juicy chicken fillets which is full of natural flavour as being corn-fed

The two appetisers are of fine-dining quality!Cauliflower tempura has a chicken nugget texture with juicy inside and thin crispy beer batter outside The sweet and sour BBQ sauce plus pickled red onions tops the flavour up even further!

Last but not least, the cocktails, mocktails, beers and wine are all of reasonable happy hour price when we visited at night. After getting some professional recommendations of the flavours of different drink choices, we each got a cocktail and a mocktail to our tastebuds.

The interior design is definitely an English pub setting, but without dodgy smell. The sofa and map-glass tables are much cleaner than those back in the England as well
Thanks to the great service and we’ll surely come back again for an English throwback
