The Lounge & Bar is located on the 102/F of The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong, offering stunning views of the Hong Kong harbour from day to night. Its brunch menu includes classic and contemporary global cuisine. Starting off with Prunier classic caviar (HKD700), it tasted like butter with a lingering flavour of ocean water and melted in my mouth! It perfectly matches white wine. The duck and waffle (HKD328) was so yummy with a golden-brown skin of the duck leg yet juicy and tender duck meat, matching so well with maple syrup, gravy and a sunny side up. The grilled octopus (HKD288) was so giant, cut into large serving pieces and served with chilli lime romesco sauce. What a gorgeous plating. It looked like a piece of art.
The chef here is good at cooking Singaporean dishes, so we ordered 1 of the Singaporean set menu (HKD480), including assorted grilled satay of skewers, wok-fried cereal king prawns, Hainanese chicken rice, and Pandan chiffon cake. A real bargain! All tasted so good, and I especially loved the wok-fried king prawns. Prawns were deep-fried and then tossed with cereal mix. It was crispy and incredibly aromatic. Such a great brunch experience, along with a luxurious interior! 10/10!
