Going to clubs doesn't mean that we have to party and it also doesn't mean that it is only for the young generation. Today, we wanted to have some quick drinks that is close to the MTR. This bar and restaurant is designed in chic style with an up-side down Eiffel Tower in the middle of the restaurant. There are lots of playful slogan and they are mostly related to drinking, because they do serve a really wide range of alcoholic drinks on the menu, as well as some really good bar snacks and seaf

This bar and restaurant is designed in chic style with an up-side down Eiffel Tower in the middle of the restaurant. There are lots of playful slogan and they are mostly related to drinking, because they do serve a really wide range of alcoholic drinks on the menu, as well as some really good bar snacks and seafood items. Happy Hour is available until 8pm for customers to enjoy their drinks at a discounted price at around $6x - $7x each.
There are bar seats available in case you like to watch the bartender for some of the actions. Apart from wine, lots of craft beer and draft beer are available. While their cocktails are also really interestingly presented.
While we were deciding what to order, we have been munching on the peanuts which tasted fresh and just salty enough!
We felt like a beer day today so we have ordered 3 different beer to share. It's before 8pm so we can still enjoy their HH promotion.
Banana Bread 5.2% $68This interestingly flavoured beer is picked by me although I thought of having my favourite London Porter. The beer is too bitter maybe because it is flavoured with a hint of banana sweetness. It is 500ml which is just enough to get your mood going!
Lindemans Peach 2.5% $60My friend can't really drink that much so she have ordered a lighter drink with only 2.5% alcohol. You may It's pretty sweet and fruity in taste and very easy to drink especially when you are not a heavy drinker.
Chimay White 8% $67Chimay has earned its reputation over the years. It is just as good! I almost forgot that it is actually a strong beer with a whooping 8% of alcohol! Though it is just good that I am ordering it again and again!
Seafood platter $245Though we didn't order white wine, we have ordered a full seafood platter to share. There are lots of different seafood like abalone, whelks, mussels, prawns, crabs, and lobster! Everything looked fresh and smelled fresh! It's served on a ice bed to everything in the good temperature.
The abalone has been marinated in dashi sauce and has a tough texture but till not too chewy. The abalone tasted fresh with an enjoyable sea water taste.
There are 4 whelks in the platter and they tasted great with a natural savoury taste and the texture is firm but soft at the same time. It’s really enjoyable with a dash of lemon juice.
The prawn tasted fresh also and it is really big in size. It has an almost gelatine sticky texture showing how fresh it is. I liked to dip that into the seafood cocktail sauce.
The Crab is packed with orange roe and the meat is very juicy and the sea water from the shell literally just gushed out and it was dripping from my hands.
Meanwhile, the lobster is also very juicy with a strong powerful seafood taste. It's comparatively as delicious as the crab.
The mussels are pretty small in size and lack of flavour when comparing to the crab or lobsters. Still fresh though.
Sea Urchin Oyster $23/eachWe have also ordered their signature dish which is oyster topped with a slap of fresh uni and some crab roes. It's commended to enjoy them all in one bite of mouthful but I have tried to eat them separately just to taste everything on its own.
The oyster itself is not too petite and it is packed with flavour. Even there are lots of uni put on top, they are very fresh with a slight bittersweet aftertaste, while the crab roe on top does give the soft uni and oyster a bit of a contrast texture. For $23 each, it is definitely a bargain. You can't miss if when you are coming here!
Mango Grilled Chicken Pizza $53Lastly, we have ordered a pizza and it comes in a petite size. 4 small slices of pizza using pre-made crust, topped with some cheese, chicken and mango pieces. It was freshly baked and served hot. Nothing too special about that when compared to the seafood platter and the oyster.
I would come back again for drinks and more seafood because they are seasonably priced with good quality that is much better than expected.
