Kwai Chung Plaza always bring something different to the table. This time I found Free D Coffee. With an espresso machine, these guys aim to serve serious coffee in this mall.Along with a variety of usual espresso based coffee, they also have interesting add ons like coconut milk and tofu. Along with a variety of usual espresso based coffee, they also have interesting add ons like coconut milk and tofu. As it's still new, they presently have a discount of $10 for espresso based coffee and $15 for the more interesting combinations.
Curious, I decided on the on the coffee with tofu pudding ($35 for a grande). First sip without mixing it, the espresso base was quite strong and fruity. Mixing it with the sweet tofu balanced it out and made for a nice over all drink.
Staff is nice in giving out recommendations. They also sell their own beans. A nice change from all the bubble tea places surrounding it.
