Space is fun and kitschy.Menu looks all right, and we'd heard good things but can't actually review the food because we never managed to eat there.First time, walked in with 3 friends.It wasn't full yet, but they said all the table were reserved (dinner).Second time, went with one friend, again they were full - visibly so (dinner).Third time, we arrived early for lunch - the place was nearly empty. It wasn't full yet, but they said all the table were reserved (dinner).
Second time, went with one friend, again they were full - visibly so (dinner).
Third time, we arrived early for lunch - the place was nearly empty. Maybe 2 tables.
They asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't.
They checked their list, said ok - sat us down, gave us the menu, left, then came back and said - sorry made a mistake, this table is reserved.
Re-seated us elsewhere, took our drink order, and while we were deciding on food, came back again and told us actually that table was also reserved!
Meanwhile, the restaurant was nearly empty.
They apologized but it just seemed ridiculous.
That's just bad service and poor judgement about customer relations.
