Came here twice but neglected to write about it the first time so will try to write both experiences in 1 go.1st visit was long ago on a eve w another companion. There were quite a few oyster choices, about 7 of them. Tasted relatively fresh (HK standards). Ordered some pasta, which tasted standard. Waiter was new but was quite pleasant. Overall, it was a ok experience, but the price didnt quite match the food. This is a restaurant that was charging michelin prices, but they deliver nothin

Waiter was new but was quite pleasant. Overall, it was a ok experience, but the price didnt quite match the food. This is a restaurant that was charging michelin prices, but they deliver nothing more than a market where they shuck oysters for you.
2nd visit was an ad hoc deal. Planned to go oyster island but it ended up closed. This was the only other oyster joint in the area so decided to give it a go. Walked in and asked about corkage, the waiter looked at the boss and the boss gave us an up down and said 500$. Apparently we looked like rich slobs or he simply didnt want us to dine with them (corkage is listed at 200$ and often waived for repeated customers).
Overall, it was subpar in various regards. Namely the price vs food quality and the service. Your experience may change if you become a frequent customer but i likely wont be back unless a change is made.
