There are so many noodle shops in Hong Kong but this place boasts some pretty expensive fish balls. They sold the fishballs and fish cake outside in a take away display. The prices were pretty steep. More expensive than a lot of other places. And so I was curious. Was it that good that they charge so much for it? We decided to find out.The menu is in English and Chinese. I ordered the fish balls noodles ($38). It came wiht only two fish balls and two slices of fish cake. The slices were really REALLY thin. It had a strong fishy taste that was over powered by the taste of pepper. The fishballs were on the softer side but also over powered by the taste of pepper. The soup had a strong fishy taste and wasn't too good.
I wasn't too impressed by this place. It was ok for a bowl of fish ball noodles but I've had much better places and they charge less. Portion was also a bit stingy as well. The fish cakes were thin as paper. I doubt I'd be back.
