To welcome 2018, my family decided to enjoy fine dining on a Friday night. La Parole was the choice because of the good reputation and its nature as a social enterprise. I have always wanted to spend wisely so why not spend money on the restaurant which is the pioneer on integrating fine dining with social enterprise. I was disappointed because the 6 course tasting menu at $438 is the only choice, seafood and beef, rather limited. Would appreciate more choices on the menu.

Hokkaido fresh scallop

Tasted in two ways: scallop sashimi with Italian caviar and wasabi, and seared scallop with sea salt. I prefer sashimi when the ingredient is fresh and unami.

Crabmeat risotto asparagus, with shallot and onions

Imitating risotto but kinda fail in my humble opinion. Texture of sharp asparagus is intrinsically different from creamy risotto. Taste refreshing overall.

Classic lobster bisque recipes can be overwhelmingly complicated thus it has never been home food. Nice to enjoy the rich and creamy lobster bisque as a heavenly entrée.

Beatifully presented. Not bad but the previous courses are even better.

Raspberry mousse cake with mixed berries and premium Belgian coffee expresso ice-cream

The end of the meal definitely comes with dessert. The expresso ice-cream is strong in taste. As a mild taster French dessert is generally too sweet for me, not an exception here.
