It was pretty hot outside and I was hungry. The closest place was Red Bean. A typical cha chan teng. It was busy but we were able to find a table within minutes.When we were there they had the afternoon tea menu available. Menu is in Chinese only. There is no English menu and no 10% service charge. I had the Soy Sauce Chicken Thigh with Salad ($42). The chicken thigh was quite juicy and well marinaded. The salad was good with no over dose of mayo. Just the right amount.
Boyfriend ordered the Stir Fry Beef Noodle ($50). A bit too stingy on the beef as there was hardly any there. We found only 3 pieces in the entire plate. The noodles were also still stuck together.
The food was ok. Not great though boyfriend wasn't too pleased with his order. I guess it's busy as it's located in a very convenient location. Service was fast but the place wasn't exactly the most hygenic. Unsure if we'd be back.
