We remember going past this place a few months ago but it was a soft opening and they were not taking any more customers at the time, so we were eagerly waiting our chance to check it out. Around the corner from the most popular green tea ice cream and eggette places in Causeway Bay, this place had to be something special as most of the time the seats were filled. While walking past yesterday, we spotted a couple of seats free and seized the opportunity. We decided on the dark chocolate souffle
We decided on the dark chocolate souffle pancake, which was $78, but told the minimum spend is $100 so we added an iced coffee on top of that. Firstly the coffee was nothing to rave about to be honest. I could have made one at home with the same quality and it was not even worth the $38.

After 20 minutes of waiting for the souffle pancake, it finally arrived, perfectly formed and topped with strawberries and cream.

From the first bite to the last, we enjoyed every bit. The combination of all the flavours was perfect; the chocolate oozed out but was not overly sweet, which was well-balanced with the sweet strawberries laced in their own jam. The cream was light, but most importantly so was the souffle itself and cooked to perfection, with no unsightly burnt areas. What's more, it didn't stick to the top of the mouth as you bit in, rather, it just floated in and left you wanting the next piece. We could totally see why the place was full and it belongs there with the other popular dessert places around.
FINAL VERDICT:
SO LIGHT, IT WILL LIFT YOU OFF YOUR FEET!
