This is my first time writing comments on any food shop (and I just registered actually). But it deserves really.I just finished my dinner with my foreign business partner from LA. Trying to walk a bit to the MTR station. This shop, we just walked by, in some sense is very attractive in the decoration especially the pink color which attracts me most. It is full at around 9:30 pm but it doesn't surprise me much... I waited for 4-5 minutes and the waiter (I believed it is the boss?) just take me over to the seats. the seats is quite comfortable in some sense and give me a good first impression actually...
The menu is a bit simple and this is the area that can be improved. The "boss" mentioned that they will change in early Feb after gathering all the comments from different customers about the cost setting and the food comments. I talked to him a bit, in English (since my partner is here), and found that his communication is quite good and polite (quite difficult to find in Tin Hau..).
About the food, I ordered Egg pudding and also the Mango 拿破仑 for sharing and it spent quite a bit (around 10 minutes) to get the 拿破仑 delivered.. My friend is quite expert in some sense (actually not me) and he just mentioned that the 拿破仑 reaches quite a high grading in outlook and taste. For the egg pudding, I tried, even after my full meal (hotpot actually), I ate the whole dish on my own... it's creamy and special really and I finally ordered a 4-egg take away pack.
What impressed me the most is the serving. There are some China visitors coming and the waiters are able communicate fluently, even better than me (living in China for 10 years).
I will try again this week. Hope the new menu arrived....
