We decided to try the lunch set at Chaiwala. Love the ambience of the restaurants filled with beautiful decorations and surrounded by lovely staff. We ordered the lunch set for the five of us and got to try a variety of dishes that came with the set. For the lunch set, we were allowed to choose one tandoor from the tandoor section and one curry from the curries section in the menu. All appetizers were served to the table for sharing. We chose the Tandoori Gobi, Broccoli, The Classic Chicken Tikka and Pink Salmon. For the curries, we chose the Chaiwala Dal, Veg Kofta Korma, Saag Paneer, Old Delhi Butter Chicken and Gosht Kofta Curry.
I loved how fresh the pink salmon was and how it was lightly seasoned with simple ingredients. It brought the taste of salmon out. The classic chicken tikka was lovely. Nothing better than a simple chicken tikka! The veg kofta korma was a nice surprise, it tasted even better than how it looks and had a wonderful burst of flavor. The naans were amazing, fluffy, soft and warm. It was not chewy, it was just right. Would recommend it!
