We went hiking in Tsing Yi last Saturday afternoon. It's a short trail and we just spent a little more than 2 hours to complete it. As it was only a quarter to four, Maritime Square became the best resting place for us. After a so called vigorous exercise, all of us decided to take our time to enjoy a high tea. So we picked La Parole which served 4 different tea sets. Environment: There's no problem in the interior design. The main problem is the surrounding environment. The restaurant is situat
Environment: There's no problem in the interior design. The main problem is the surrounding environment. The restaurant is situated on the western side of Rambler Channel. Tsuen Wan Cemetery is on the opposite coast. You will see hundreds of tombstones while you are having your food. I guess very few would like that. And the whole restaurant is not completely partitioned off the shopping arcade. When we were enjoying our desserts, a boy was crying on the other side of the wall. He cried so sadly and shrilly that our appetite was completely disturbed.
Taste: We order two high tea set, one spagetti with minced meat and one sandwiches. There's too much sauce in the spagetti. Tiramishu was too wet b'coz of the over dosage of rum. The other food was delicious. Highly recommended the sandwiches which were rich in cheese.
Service: The attendant was quite helpful in introducing the menu and provide recommendations. Refilling of warm water was always done when the cup was half full.
Price: We ended up with $490 in total, which cost each of us slightly more than $80. It's reasonable for the level of service provided and food served.
Cleanliness: The restaurant was clean and tidy.
