A home for waffle lover~

Before getting lost in this semester, I have decided to find something to encourage myself and prepare for what is waiting ahead As a dessert lover, especially waffle, it was hard to miss this restaurant when we were wandering around Causeway BayIt was really lucky for me and my friends to come to this restaurant at 1900 as there is NO ONE queuing outside YET! However, we were told to return the table after one and a half hour when the waiter show us to out table within a minute. The Dinner Set

 As stated in the menu, the set included a soup or salad as appetizer, a main dish and most importantly a waffle with ice cream is INCLUDED in it!!!
This lovely set also allows you to add money for chicken wings, red/white wine and selected drinks, quite a lot of variations!

FOOD
Since there are three of us, we have order three sets, two Bolognese and one Roasted Knuckle.
Warm Tomato Salad

 Before going into the main dish, I have to mention about the Warm Tomato Salad, beside the tomato is warm which I found it so good, it was also very sweet! And what I love about the salad is the apple cider vinegar they have used
I don’t know which brand they have added in the salad, but it tasted SWEET more than sour. I personally found it enhanced the taste of the salad compare to the apple vinegar in my home.
Baked Bolognese Lasagna

 The Baked Bolognese Lasagna was great!
It smell and taste good First, it’s not hard to tell cklthat it was fresh baked, as it was so crispy! And I think the cheese was not too heavy or light tasted, after all not everyone love to have the food filled with heavy cheese taste, it will make you feel so full after finishing the whole dish. With the just-enough portion of the dish, you will still have space spare for the delicious waffle.
Roasted Pork Knuckle

 The Roasted Pork Knuckle is yet another surprise to us, although it took us almost HLAF HOUR before it was ready to be served, it was definitely worth waiting!
When it was served, we was shocked by the size of it because it was enough for two people to share it. The meat was tender and the skin was crispy! It was something you have to taste and no word can describe the taste accurately. So it is a MUST TRY and try to cut the meat by yourself, it will be much more fun

 If you think the waffle come with the set must be something not that good, you will be surprised!
 It’s because apart from choosing villain, chocolate and strawberry ice cream cone, the waffle was simply EXCELLENT! You can expect nothing less from it, the waffle is real CRISPY (how many times I have used this word
)! My only suggestion is to feed yourself before feeding your camera as the best time to taste it won’t last long, I believe you don’t want to wait till the ice cream melted, right?


All in all, this dinner at Green Waffle is really delighting and I would definitely try it again, it’s a home to all waffle lovers!!
