Part 2 of celebrating my sister's belated birthday was enjoying some fine dessert at Passion.   The 4 of us got there at about 2100 or 2130 and luckily found an opened spot where all 4 of us could sit. Decor/Environment:The first thing you see when you walk in is the wonderful pastry, so how could you turn away once you're in ? After each one of us chose one, cousin T ordered and we sat down. The dim lighting along with the nice tunes being played was perfect for just sitting back and relaxing after a long day. It has a nice environment.

Taste & Value:
Facing all these fancy desserts, these are the four that we chose that night.

My choice: Tiramisu ($42)
This was the best tiramisu I've ever had. It was so light, fluffy and creamy, but most importantly you could taste the liquor and and coffee. The taste of coffee was really strong so if you're not a coffee fan or you don't like tiramisu with such a strong taste of coffee, this wouldn't be for you. My sister for example doesn't like coffee, so she didn't like it.

(Top) Cousin T's choice: Noisette ($39-$42?)

Noisette is a hazelnut mousse dessert. It was creamy, and had a relatively more mellow taste compared to the other 3. However, if you had it with one of the 3 hazelnuts on top, then it was like a hazelnut explosion in your mouth and instantly became so rich.

(Bottom) My sister's choice: Passion chocolat ($39-$42?)
By the name Passion chocolat, you probably wouldn't know what it is. Besides creamy chocolate mousse, there is actually also a creamy pistachio paste/mousse in the centre and some chocolate covered rice krispies type of crust as a base.
Smooth yet crunchy, it was another fine dessert. Either this or the tiramisu was my favourite.

Cousin J's choice: Apple Crumble ($42)
Cousin J likes apple crumble so trying this was unavoidable.
Anything with fruit is usually low on my order list, so don't be surprised that this was my least favourite. However, don't get me wrong because it was good. It had a nice crumbly top with an inside that wasn't overly sweet.

Hygiene:
Hygiene seemed good. Since we were there when the restaurant was getting ready to close, we saw the staff grabbing all the leftovers and putting them in bags.
I wonder if they just throw the leftovers out or donate them. It was weird seeing a $40 sandwich suddenly becoming a piece of garbage in seconds. It's wasteful, but at least you know that whatever you buy is fresh.

Service:
Service could be better. Since we wanted the apple crumble warm, the staff put it in the oven. It probably would have stayed there in the oven until the store closed if we didn't ask about it. The staff need to work on better customer service and be more friendly. If you can't smile to customers, then don't be in customer service. As simple as that.

Final Verdict:
I really want to try their bread and other desserts!
Well, I guess I'll have to go again.
