Made two recent visits here after being recommended to it by a friend. I was warned of its patchy service, but on both occassions I found it above average for a local joint. For a start, they did not rush us as we finished our desserts and were quite reasonable with assigning appropriate table sizes. Weekend late nights do not seem to require much of a wait. We didn't need to wait on both occassions past 11pm although the place became full around midnight.
I'm a big fan of desserts but don't usually frequent dessert joints. Pleasantly surprised by its thoughtful Little Prince decor. A generous selection of dessert flavours (though not over the top) in both warm and cold. There were a handful of Chinese-style 'sweet soups' in addition to its waffles, serraduras (木糠布甸) and souffles.
Favourites were its chocolate waffle (paired with caremalised bananas was amazing), oreo serradura (mango serradura was alright but flavour a little too common and expected) and green tea souffle (if you like green tea, and if anything for its playful plating). Apple crumble was nice and warm but not crumbly enough to my satisfaction. Prices range predominantly high $30s to mid $50s.
The surrounds:
There are a number of other local dining joints along the street and a pub opposite. Most seem to open late. Feels very much an industrial area. Not aware of any other POIs.
