People call this place Italian, but I'd say otherwise. An Interesting menu on offer but relaxed and comfortable even if it's on the smaller side. A word of advice, don't sit near the main door, its forever opening and closing therefore the heat does make it a little uncomfortable (the little fabric box for your bags under the chair is a nice touch)So on to the food. So on to the food. We arrived at lunch after reading other reviews on the place. The menu was a mix of western style with touch of Italian and other European mixed all in one. We went for the specials which was recommended. Plenty of choice on offer but we decided to go try the pan fried mackerel with spaghetti and boiled side veggy. This came with a sweet potato soup to start and a glass of ice coffee which was nice. We also ordered smoked salmon cream cheese bagel with a cold salad to start.
Makeral and spaghetti came first and shortly followed by the smoked salmon bagel. The fish was pan fried to perfection, very little oil left on the plate and tasted fresh and not rubbery. Seasoning was good also. The spaghetti didn't have much flavour or taste but it was cooked al dente which was nice. Boiled carrots and zucchini veggy tasted bland with no seasoning unfortunately.
A nice touch at the end was the stamp card for repeat visitors..
Coffee tasted nice.......
