We were craving for something comforting tonight, but had clueless what to have. Just passed by Camper's and seeing pretty empty, we immediately went in! Right after we seated, it started getting busier.We were having difficulty deciding if having curry rice, salad or udon; ending up we requested all three! We were craving for something comforting tonight, but had clueless what to have. Just passed by Camper's and seeing pretty empty, we immediately went in! Right after we seated, it started getting busier.

We were having difficulty deciding if having curry rice, salad or udon; ending up we requested all three!

Slow cooked beef ribs with veggies in black sesame curry rice was in generous portion. Big chunks of veggies was served. Zucchini, carrots, broccoli and potatoes were all well cooked. Just right to bite through while not soggy. Absorbed all the curry sauce. Hint of sweetness while still tasted the black sesame and curry flavour. Curry wasn't hot, more on the black sesame flavour; very very mild curry flavour. Right amount of sauce that just enough to finish it with the rice. Rice was tumeric, corn, pumpkin and sweet potato mixed. Couldn't taste much of the veggies but hint of sweetness from the Jasmine rice. Beef ribs were incredibly soft and absorbed all the flavour. Savoury but not beefy. Slight stick to your teeth but acceptable. Again generous servings.

Pork cartilage udon in white sesame soup was my all time favourite. Gigantic pork cartilage pieces were given. So soft that kind of melt in my mouth. Easily tear apart while the cartilage was the fuse inside your mouth. Cabbage, corn and shredded carrots were also served aside. Love they always give almost same size of vegetables with the proteins. Half marinated soft boiled egg was served too. Perfectly cooked while giving some sweetness. Kept reminding it was a nutritional balanced meal. Udon was cooked al dante while I found the broth was very savoury but rarely tasted white sesame.

We also asked for a lotus aubergine potato salad. Lotus, aubergine and potatoes were deep fried before coating the seasoning. Lotus was crispy. Aubergine was soft but kept its shape. Potatoes were sweet and soft. Covered with a touch of Shichimi, but the dish itself wasn't spiced at all. Side leafy salad was drizzled with ranch like dressing. Nothing special but bottom part was all soggy. Soaked by the oil from the deep fried aubergine, lotus and potatoes. Bottom part was kind of uneatable.

Overall, it was exactly what I wish for tonight. Comforting and quick dinner. Nothing special but satiating.
