A colleague and I visited this restaurant for lunch on a Monday. It’s located close to Exit A of Quarry Bay MTR station. There was no queue and we were seated immediately (though I have seen queues outside in the past). The décor is basic, modern and has a canteen feel. There is plenty of indoor seating available but no outdoor seating. Takeaway is available too.The restaurant has an extensive menu that includes Chinese and western food. I chose the beef brisket as this is one of my favourites.
The restaurant has an extensive menu that includes Chinese and western food. I chose the beef brisket as this is one of my favourites. It took around 5 minutes to arrive (see picture). The beef was boneless and had a mild flavour. The curry included potato, vegetables and plenty of sauce. The rice tasted as you’d expect! I had an iced tea to accompany my meal.
I enjoyed my experience. We were there for about 45 minutes. The staff were attentive and prompt and at no time did I feel under pressure to order or leave at the end of the meal. This is a fast-food restaurant that is ideal for a quick lunchtime bite. The prices are clearly marked on the menu and represent good value.
