Went for lunch over weekend. Ordered the gluten free pan friend broccoli mozzarella cake with poached egg, quinoa cake and a salmon avo wrap.Environment wise was quite special. The cafe has a workshop with carpenters working inside. So when you take a look of the cafe, you can see people doing the woodwork. The place has many furniture for sales. Environment wise was quite special. The cafe has a workshop with carpenters working inside. So when you take a look of the cafe, you can see people doing the woodwork. The place has many furniture for sales. They are all unique and made with solid wood which makes it extra special.
In terms of food, the broccoli mozzarella cake was quite nice. It was a healthy option which loads of broccoli and also the fried lotus root added to the crunchiness and layer to the dish. A simple and healthy option and dispatched quickly.
The quinoa cake was also pleasing to the eyes but I didn’t enjoy it. It tasted a little sweet and mushy for my liking. Salmon wrap with fresh lettuce and avo tasted alright thought. Coffee was okay, not blown away.
Staff was friendly so planned to go back to try some dessert. Also will sign up for the workshop for fun.
