Walking down the sky-blue narrow staircase into the tea shop, I found myself in a modest but homey room that it almost felt like I was back in a small town in Scotland. Seated at the far end of the tea shop, we were offered a tea menu and a food menu. Since we went during lunch hours, there were a few options for lunch set of sandwich, quiche, and baked potatos with complimentary tea.
There were different kinds of interesting tea, and finally we ordered Highland Toffee and Grand Old Duke of York. We were advised to use the hourglass to wait for 3 minutes before we poured the tea, and I loved my Highland Toffee! It was a mix of a scent of vanilla and roasted caramel, and the aroma stayed while I drank the tea.
