I wanted an afterwork coffee time so I decided to try out Flow Float. One of a number of new coffee shops that have opened in the Causeway Bay area. A stark white shop with a small number of seats and a couple located outside. As it was too hot outside, I grabbed the last seat.They had a number of pastries in a display case. Menu is in English only. There is no 10% service charge. They offer the usual coffee varieties along with some signaure styles and non coffee choices. I decided on something called a Crummy.
The Crummy ($48) is a cold drink. A dirty coffee but they use Italian Rice Whipping Cream to create a very smooth and creamy texture. As there is no milk used, this is a vegan friendly drink. It was actually quite nice. The coffee was fine but I did like the creamy texture the whipped cream created.
The signature Crummy was interesting. I might be back to try something more typical next time if there is room as there aren't that many places to sit.
