Tempted by the excellent reviews, we finally came here for dinner on a Saturday night. It did not disappoint! A walk up from PMQ in soho neighborhood, the place was cosy and very happening with pop music 🎶 Greeted by friendly staff, we ordered 8 dishes to share between the 2 of us. On the first bite of the pasta 🍝, it tasted different. But as you continue eating, the flavors would grow on you. You could taste umami
Things could be improved : Toro Tartare with Sea Urchin was a bit flat on the flavors. It was lack of seasoning 🧂. Missing some elements.
Abalone & Tofu was a delicious combination but the kimchi dressing was too powerful and took away the freshness of the abalone.
To sum things up, it was an enjoyable evening of fusion cuisine 😋There were still a few dishes we would like to try if we had the stomach space for it. We also saw a few tables celebrating for birthdays 🥳 🎂
