It's been extremely hot in HK recently and sometimes after walking on the streets you just want a good cold tea drink. One of my friends recommended this place to me for a good tea drink in TST and I was very pleasantly surprised! The menu had a lot of unique flavours you don't usually see at bubble tea stores. We tried one of their matcha mochi drinks and a black sesame oolong tea mochi drink.

1. Black sesame Oolong tea mochi $39
This was one of the most popular drinks of this place and they were also the most aesthetically pleasing to picture! The oolong tea was good and aromatic, but the flavour of the black sesame was a good balance to the slight bitterness in teas. The white mochi balls were chewy and had a good texture, and was a good alternative to the common boba balls! I also really liked how they used fresh milk, which is healthier and milk formulas. Overall, we would rate this a 4/5 stars!

2. Matcha w/ fresh milk and mochi balls $39
The fact that this one didn't have a tea base allowed the aromatic bitterness of matcha to really shine through! We changed the fresh milk base into a soy base milk, and personally we think this made the drink feel much lighter and less rich from the fat. It would really depend on what flavour profile you prefer, but if you are lactose intolerant but still want a great drink, this would be a good choice! Again, the mochi balls were chewy and of great texture and didn't taste very 'dough-y'

3. Japanese Yuzu Cheese Cake
This was a surprisingly small slice of cake for the price, but the yuzu sweetness was well balanced out by the cheese flavour. The cake was light and not dense, which paired really well with the match milk drink. We enjoyed the flavour of this cake a lot, although it was admittedly very small and palm sized for the price.

Overall, would recommend this place for those looking for a good afternoon tea drink that offers unique flavours aside from your usual bubble tea flavours!
