Went for tea this afternoon at Cova Caffe and Restorante at Pacific Place 3rd Floor. No queues as the restaurant was not full at 4pm and were seated promptly.The Restaurant is located in an open plan area within the mall retail floor area between the designer shops. The Restaurant is located in an open plan area within the mall retail floor area between the designer shops. The white thick table cloths and napkins oozed quality and topped with Silver service cutlery too!
We chose the cake and hot drink combo deal for $138+10% service per pax. Wife chose the Peanut Feuillentine and Earl Grey tea. I had the Mango Dome cake and an Americano.
Our drinks and cakes were promptly delivered to our table without much fuss and we quickly tucked into our cakes.
The Americano was of a decent standard and the Earl Grey tea had a lovely sweet floral bouquet of bergamot oil. All served in white porcelain.
The Peanut Feuillentine was rich but not too sweet and had a nicely balanced layer of peanut butter mix, cream, crunchy base of hazelnuts topped with cocoa powder. Nice contrast of the crunchy base with the smooth and soft peanut based topping.
The Mango dome cake comprised of Mango, whipped cream and sponge cake layer. The cake was surprisingly light and had the right balance of sweetness and acidity from the Mango fruit.

Good quality cakes and drinks in a nice dining environment makes this a great place to rest ones tired feet after a hard day's shopping!
