I would say that this box of macaron is one of the best macaron in this town. During the recent trip in HK, my wife's friends gave her four box of them from Che Che, Paul Lafayet, LGB, and JPH. Thisi s my first attempt of JPH's macaron. Although it looks almost the same as LGB's, its texture of the shell and the filling are quite preferrable. I don't mind the degree of sweetness since macaron is somewhat "confection" or even a "dessert" to me. If it is not sweet in taste, I don't think that

(i.e., just like having a sugar-less red bean soup in a Chinese dessert house!!!)
Two things I could like to high-lighted for your attention:
1. Texture of the shell: It was so thin, crispy, and not-moist. The color are not "too fake".
2. The filings: It has various favor and I enjoy all of them. By having a bit of them, I can tell that JPH heavily use the proper and enough ingredient to make its product. The quantity was HUGE for me. The texture are thick, full body, and rich. (Just like drinking coffee, simply a little drop can tell whether it is strong or mild in favor. It's all about sense and taste from your tongue.) In cantonese, it is so-called "足料"!
According to my wife, it costs over HK$200 for 12 pieces. Does it worth? My answer is YES!

- I am impressed by Lafayet's jumbo macaron.
- LGB successfully maintain a "stable and above average" quality.
- Che Che's macaron may be good for those who are in their first attempt.
