Was out and about in Causeway Bay one day. Since I'm a big fan of vietnamese, we decided to try this place out.I had high expectation of Perfume RIver since it's been around since I could remember and thought we can't go wrong.We ordered the usually vietnamese beef noodles. It pretty lacked taste. The steam mince meat wrap wasn't great either as the wrap itself was way too thick. Comparatively, Lo Chiu is sooooo much better. We also ordered the soft shell crabs. We also ordered the soft shell crabs. This was probably the best dish out of the 3 but I still think I had better.
The store itself was very retro, all green, not renew but that's what's great about it. I like the old feeling about it, service were really efficient but friendly as well.
Too bad the food wasn't good enough. For me, it didn't have to be mind-blowing, but if 2 of the 3 dishes were good, then it would have already been a pass.
