走肉‧朋友 (English name: My Meat Run Buddy) is another vegetarian all you can eat buffet. Much like the popular Ahimsa Buffet, this one follows the same format. You pay when you enter (cash only, no 10% service charge) and sit down where ever you find an empty plate. Use that plate to go to the buffet table in the middle. Prices for lunch are $88 weekends and public holidays, $68 weekday. Dinner is $118 Monday - Thursday, $148 Friday - Sunday and public holidays. There is a 90 minute time limit but no one really kicked us out. Items are all labelled in English and Chinese.

They have lots of different mains and cold appetizers. There was Chinese dessert and cake along with fruit and tea. Worth a mention is the vegetarian poached chicken appetizer. It was a bit on the sweet side but it tasted great with  the texture of chicken. The skewers were great, too.

Things I felt compared to the more popular Ahimsa Buffet? There were more items labelled in English and Chinese. Items seemed more creative where as Ahimsa was more along the lines of simple rice and noodles and steamed vegetables. However, Ahimsa had more drink choices including detox water and Chinese dessert and more cakes (like the amazing chocolate cake). This place only had tiramisu and they didn't bother to refill. Ahimsa also had a lot more fruit choices such as grapes, various melons and kumquat. They also constantly refilled these as well. This place only had cantelope and wasn't refilled often. Seating here was also a lot more cramped and uncomfortable with several high tables. Ahimsa had more space and was much more comfortable seating. The diners here seemed more younger where as Ahimsa seemed more older and there were more monks that dined there. Food at Ahimsa also tasted better even if didn't look as nice.

My Meat Run Buddy seems to be geared for a younger vegetarian crowd. It's ok but if you want something more simple and nicer seating, I'd probably go back to Ahimsa as it did taste better and had more choices. This one? Only if I was in the neighborhood.
