Service: The waiter/owner was cheerful, but despite an occupancy of no more than 1/3, service was slow and uncoordinated. The waiter, forgetting to put in our order the first time, had to come around taking our orders a second time 5 minutes later. Both main courses, “lobster bread” and “curry crab bread” came before the two appetizers. It took the waitstaff over 10 minutes to give us the bill after we asked for it.
Food: The “lobster bread” (lobster roll may be a better name) and the “curry crab bread” tasted fine, but probably not worthy of the price. The ceasar salad, other than the strange addition of raw onions and apples, was pedestrian, something you would expect to come free with a $100 set lunch. The lonely deep fried soft shell crab, plated in a small dish with no garnishes, tasted just like any deep fried food. The dessert was probably the most memorable: a plain donut decorated with a marshmallow on top, sitting on top of a pool of what could only be assumed as raspberry sauce, ended a meal that we would hope to forget as soon as possible.
Overall impression: Amateurish service, inconsistent food quality, and general lack of attention to providing any semblance of gastronomic experience makes this one of the most forgettable dining venue. AVOID.
