After work, I and my colleagues have decided to dine in Stockton. We also want some alcohol in our system. We ordered Beetroot Salmon Gravalax and Scotch Eggs. Scotch Eggs had the crunchy exterior and requisite gooey yolk make these perfect bar bites, although we’d rather they were a little less drenched in the (admittedly yummy) paprika aioli, so we could taste more of the Scotch eggs themselves.Fish and Chips were great too. After work, I and my colleagues have decided to dine in Stockton. We also want some alcohol in our system. We ordered Beetroot Salmon Gravalax and Scotch Eggs. Scotch Eggs had the crunchy exterior and requisite gooey yolk make these perfect bar bites, although we’d rather they were a little less drenched in the (admittedly yummy) paprika aioli, so we could taste more of the Scotch eggs themselves.
Fish and Chips were great too. It was served with pickled tartare sauce and thick cut fries. I remembered the times when I used to live in Britain because of this dish. It was crunchy batter/soft flaky interior combo in style!
We also tried the whiskey-based Athole Brose. It suits to our taste. We can’t drink too much that time since we are already full.
I want to come back soon because I really want to try other dishes as well as their famous rhum.
