One of the magazine was talking about this new dessert place so I went there to check it out before it gets busy. Let's start with the drinks, Apple cooler is actually apple juice with apples & green apples dices and Yogurt. My friend said that it tasted refreshing and not too sour. As for me, I always loved to drink tea so I ordered the des amoureux which is basically tea with fruits such as pineapples, strawberries, oranges and blueberries. The tea tasted quite fruity and the pottery was so pretty!
We loved "Hopeful" the best! It is roasted chocolate cream + cinnamon biscuits + fresh celadon apple with vanilla ice-cream. The ice-cream tasted so yummy and the texture was smooth. If anyone try this dessert next time, remember to mix the cinnamon biscuits with the apple and chocolate cream. I ate the celadon apple on its own and it was just sour! But once you mixed with the chocolate cream and cinnamon biscuits together, it tasted delicious.
I highly recommend this dessert.
Perplexed is cashew nuts, figs & blueberries served with cremeux Tainori cream & caramel hongeycomb ice-cream. The magazine recommend people to try this because when you open the lid, there will be smoke. To be honest, other than the gimmick, I will not recommend anyone to try this dessert because it tasted like smoke. After we opened the lid, the dessert smelled like chemical......... My friend said it tasted like burnt. We only ate the ice-cream and blueberries.
