Was taken by my new colleagues to try Arabic food in Wanchai, something that I’ve never tried before. I would say it’s a bit similar to Turkish food as they both have something in common eg roasted meat with herbs, bread with dips on the side, and very strong and flavourful tea. The rice was very flavourful, cooked with herbs. The meat was served with their homemade yoghurt on the side, which was very refreshing. I didn’t order a starter soup like my other colleagues but the owner was very generous and gave me a bowl of soup saying: just drink it! 😆 the coffee was strong but not bitter. One of my colleagues ordered a milk tea but found it very sweet. (I guess this is the Arabian style tea 😆)

Overall the the food was great, the place was a bit small but it didn’t feel crowded. The restaurant fits around 20-25 people. The price is reasonable for meals in the Wanchai area (we paid $100 on average).
The owner was very nice and kept checking if our food was fine. He gave us a card with a few stamps. If you get 10 stamps you’ll become their VIP and will be able to get discounts for meals.
I really like to try different foods from various countries, would love to try the other meats from their menu upon my next visit 😋
