Revisiting after a year, their warm big greetings always memorable and loving. Staffs welcomed you nicely and arranged you to a perfect seat but still asking if we were happy for their arrangement. Menu changed comparing with the past, still variety options plus the tasting menu. We ordered the calamari, cajun fries, truffle mushroom risotto and the parma ham and arugula pizza. Even we only had two persons, we managed to finish everything like a starving beast.Calamari was prepared in bite size.

Calamari was prepared in bite size. Accessible to eat and smart that coated the batter well without risking to fall apart in every bite. Crispy savoury batter with little chew squid part. Tastier with the side dip, spicy mayo (dont forget about that!). Perfect snack for happy hour.
Cajun fries smelled amazing. Love the generous cajun seasoning that well coated on all fries. Crispy skinny fries were served fresh and steamy hot. Every bite could almost burnt your tongue. Lightly salted with a little bit of smoky spice. Love to dip with the truffle sauce that we even asked for a refill!
Truffle mushroom risotto was bigger portion than I expected. It was loaded with big pieces and variety of mushrooms! Mushrooms absorbed all the flavour that even brought a strong umami taste to the risotto. Risotto was cooked perfectly that rice was just right. Neither wet nor dry, kept its slight chew texture. Truffle pieces could be visually seen plus, tasting it. Always love the combination of truffle and mushrooms.
Parma ham and arugula pizza was a half thin crust type. Not a doughy one. Marinara was on a sweet side. And parma ham was not the fatty cut which absolutely gave a lighter taste. The saltiness from the parma ham and the hint bitterness from fresh arugula paired so well with the mild mozzarella cheese plus the lightly dusting parmesan. A pizza tasted sweetness, bitterness and savouriness. Crust was little crunchy. Not bad!
Still remembering my first time here was their warming friendly greetings and it remained after a whole year. Never disappoint you. A place spreading love and warmth not only from food.
