My friend works in Wanchai so every time I cross the harbour to find her for dinner, she’ll take me to somewhere new and nice🤤 We visited this cozy Japanese restaurant on Lockhart Road tonight and the meal was AMAZING!!We were greeted by the Japanese owner (well I guess he’s the owner cuz he seems like it lol) and were seated right away. We ordered a shabu shabu set and a sukiyaki set.When the beef and pork were served, we put 2 pieces into the boiling broth immediately and they tasted so good!!

When the beef and pork were served, we put 2 pieces into the boiling broth immediately and they tasted so good!! Especially when the beef is mixed with the raw eggs!!!

The soup for the sukiyaki was more salty than the one for shabu shabu so you gotta eat it with rice or udon!

The portion of veggies given was generous and they’re pretty fresh! Also with the amount of meat given, the rice and the udon are a lot for a dinner for 1 lol So you may wanna order one shabu shabu/sukiyaki and one set that’s of a smaller portion instead💁🏻♀️

Btw just as any authentic Japanese restaurants, the service is great!!
