Casual strolling around Lee Gardens and decided to sit down for a Sunday afternoon coffee break. Ordered Long Black, Chai Latte and a Day Dreamer cupcake. Coffee were average but since this is a cake shop I am not having too high of an expectation. The cupcake is a non gluten free cupcake, pretty moist in texture with the right amount of sweetness. Coffee were average but since this is a cake shop I am not having too high of an expectation. The cupcake is a non gluten free cupcake, pretty moist in texture with the right amount of sweetness. It lacks the richness of what a cupcake should have but if you are health cautious that is what you will likely trade off for. The interesting part is the bill totals $144 (service charge included) and we pay cash in $150 and that the assumption is there is no change in return.
To us the actual change is not what really matters but this interesting assumption really turns us off from likely to returning again.
