Average food, horrible service

The food was mediocre, but what I truly want to talk about is the unbelievably terrible service. Once I sat down, I noticed everyone around me had cups of hot tea. After receiving the food I ordered, I asked if I could get some hot tea. The waiter asked me if I could explain what I meant by "hot tea." I was confused at first, and wasn't sure if hot tea was automatically served with meals so I just said "never mind." Much later on, he brought me a cup ofhot tea and the way the waiter had been act

The food was mediocre, but what I truly want to talk about is the unbelievably terrible service. Once I sat down, I noticed everyone around me had cups of hot tea. After receiving the food I ordered, I asked if I could get some hot tea. The waiter asked me if I could explain what I meant by "hot tea." I was confused at first, and wasn't sure if hot tea was automatically served with meals so I just said "never mind." Much later on, he brought me a cup ofhot tea and the way the waiter had been acting compelled me to  ask if the hot tea was free. This is ridiculous. As I continued eating my meal, which was already almost done, I noticed other customers receiving their hot teas WITHOUT ASKING immediately right after they ordered, even before their food came. Honestly, I'm confused and disappointed. The customer shouldn't be expected to ask for something as simple as tea or water, especially while their almost done eating their meal. And being asked "What do you mean by hot tea" as a response is even worse. I understand that not everyone is fluent in English, but COME ON, I said "Hot Tea." I'm never coming back, and the servers definitely need more training.
