We went to this restaurant for farewell dinner, and ordered an Omakase menu ($1,680 + 10%), and a bottle of sake.The food was average; sea urchin was fresh, but the other food was only OK.The attitude of the staff has great fun for improvement. They took the empty plates while others were still enjoying the food. Also, we were told to leave without any notice in advance. The attitude of the staff has great fun for improvement. They took the empty plates while others were still enjoying the food. Also, we were told to leave without any notice in advance. We told the staff that we would need a few more minutes to finish the sake but he insisted in saying that we have to leave "right now". While we understand the measures that we had, we would have expected him informing us well in advance instead of coming all in a sudden saying "we have to go".
Given the price that we paid, I'd say the service is really unsatisfactory.
