Had a very bad experience in this restaurant yesterday at lunch time. As the restaurant did not take reservation of under 6 persons, so we were advised to arrive there very early (12:15pm). We were allocated to a long table which can accommodate 6 persons, so we were sharing the table with a couple. We ordered set lunch ($78 up including soup and drink, no 10% service charge). The soup was served very quickly (all prepared I guess), it was so waterly and we ended up putting lots and lots of
Later, the couple left and there were at least 5 ppl standing nearby some tables waiting for seats (too hot outside?!). Then we were told that they have messed up with their bookings and asked us to pay and leave! We questioned as we are still having our drink and it was only 1pm. The waitress told us they expect customers can finish their lunch in 30 mins. Well, if we are in local noodle stalls we can accept the fact they need a faster turnaround. It is totally unacceptable that we are paying at least $78 to get such service. Very disappointing. We gave the waitress our feedback and left to have a drink somewhere else. We are quite sure we will never come again.
Lastly, the restaurant is hugely understaff with only 2 waitress serving 7-8 tables in lunchtime, they have to manage the queue outside also. Well...give it a go if you are working nearby, given it is relatively new and sounds authentic.
