Bad Service, Bad Environment and Normal Western Food We ordered the Special Set Dinner Meal at La Parole, and it turned out that it was just very normal western dinner. I could not tell anything of it is in FRENCH-style. The service of the waiters was not good. It took us a lot of effort to gain the attention from the waiters to serve us. The waiters were unfriendly. The tables in the restaurant were so close to each other, we could clearly heard every words said by the person sitting next
We ordered the Special Set Dinner Meal at La Parole, and it turned out that it was just very normal western dinner. I could not tell anything of it is in FRENCH-style.
The service of the waiters was not good. It took us a lot of effort to gain the attention from the waiters to serve us. The waiters were unfriendly.
The tables in the restaurant were so close to each other, we could clearly heard every words said by the person sitting next to us. It was so disturbing. Furthermore, we can hear the people talking outside the restaurant. I wouldn’t expect that could happen in a French Restaurant. The environment is just like fast food restaurant.
The most upsetting thing is about the meal. It said on the Drinks section, it wrote “Leonidas Hot Chocolate, Coffee or Tea”. Normal people will think you can choose any one of them without additional charge. But it was not the case. There is a very small sentence at the bottom saying need to add 5 dollars for “Hot chocolate”. The waiter told us that if we order Leonidas Hot chocolate, we need to add 5 dollars. The dinner set menu is SO MISLEADING! 5HKD is not the main problem, just felt like being cheated.
Conclusion: It was such an unpleasant and disappointing place to visit. Will not visit again.
