Wanna have a dinner with close mate in Central but most restaurants are expensive, made some web search and found a upstair Italian style restaurant “La Casa”Location is easy to find, just opposite to ex-Central Market. Although it’s not large but atmosphere is warm and with nice windows view. Order 2 set dinner, Salad came first, one with ham and mozzarella cheese and other one with smoked salmon. The veggie is fresh and sweetie eventhough it is just a standard appetizer.For the soup we took 1

For the soup we took 1 tomato and 1 chowder, ingredients are rich and I guess it is self made but not canned, good matching along with the breads provided.
For the main I took the pork rack and my mate took the beef cheek. I was worry a bit the pork may be overcooked and became old, when I cut it all worries gone and it’s just right and not “old”, the onion jam served along give additional taste to the pork and I like it. For my mate beef, it was marinated with red wine so the texture become softer, the strong “beef” taste is somehow soften by the red wine taste and make it balance, she also enjoy it.
After the main, we ordered the dessert and drink for chatting time. It was panna cotta! I knew it is fat but for girls who cares! We finished them all with nice coffee and lemon tea.
What a nice upstair restaurant allow you having relax dining time with fair price ~$300 per head.
