I discovered the most cutest patisserie while wandering the Tsim Sha Tsui area. Dessert Park is a small little shop selling macarons and other goodies. It's in an area with a lot of other Korean restaurants and is actually run by a Korean lady! Inside there is a display of all sorts of macrons. Menu is in English only. There is no 10% service charge. They not only sell macarons but also other pastries. You can even order one of those beautiful Korean style flower cakes.
For the macarons, they offer three different kinds: mini ones for $10, regular ones for $20 and character ones for $30.
I decided to get a character one. Isn't it cute! It was an Earl Gray macaron. The size was a bit larger than most other places I've had and it had adorable little ears! There was a sweetly drawn eyes with eyelashes on it.
There was a nice large amount of cream that had a lovely strong Earl Gray flavor. The macaron had a slight crunchy exterior and a good chewiness as well. Fairly decent macaron! And not too sweet as well!
A wonderful little pastry shop that I'm so glad I took a chance on. The lady was so nice and the macarons were beautiful. Even if you don't get a character one, the others are just as beautiful. I'll be back!
