Crave for some dessert to end the night.1) Stewed Milk with Red Bean 红豆特浓牛乳炖蛋白 (7/10)I always ordered this dessert hot. The stewed milk has a strong and full taste of Japanese Milk which is very yum. The adding of the red bean further added colours to the stewed milk. The only downside is it is rather filling.2) Pineapple Shaved Ice Mountain 菠萝雪山 (10/10)Love this chill shaved ice to the max especially in the hot summer like now. 2) Pineapple Shaved Ice Mountain 菠萝雪山 (10/10)Love this chill shaved ice to the max especially in the hot summer like now. The presentation of this pineapple dessert was beautiful. I had this little thought that the pineapple might be reused, but as soon as I had some pineapple chunks in the shaved ice, I immediately got relief. The fact that they used fresh pineapple chunks kind of surprised and impressed me at the same time.
3) Mango Glutinous Pancake 芒果糯米糍 (2/10)Claimed to be the most popular dessert as told by the waitress. The Glutinous pancake lacked of chewy texture and was quite dry and hard in texture. The mango within the pancake was sour. Worst dish of the night.
******************************There aren't much dessert stores in Tai Han, plus I live nearby, I spent much time in this dessert store. Although people says its fame is fading, but what I see is the crowd is still flushing in. I guess the location is not that bad at all, but the food.....sure is deteriorating, so is their service.
