I used to live in Beijing and since moving back to Hong Kong, I’ve always been in search of authentic dumplings which reminds me of the ones I used to have. I have to say that this is my favourite chain of dumpling restaurants.The dumplings are home-made. They have many different fillings including lamb, asparagus and abalone, beef, chives, watercress etc. I love how they are served without soup and perfect for dipping into black vinegar. The thickness of the skin is also perfect - not too thick

You can order five or ten dumplings a dish, there are also many rice/noodles and side dishes to choose from. In particular I like the pig’s ear, shredded potato salad and the cold noodles and shredded chicken in sesame sauce. The shredded chicken with vegetable rice is also good.
The meal is quite heavy with carbs. It is the ultimate comfort food. I will always come back!
