This was my second visit to this restaurant. First time, it went okay, so I decided to give it another try and went in again today. Honestly, such a disappointment. First of all, if you come without a reservation, expect waiting times, which I understand. Staff, however, is quite rude and not very helpful. Honestly, such a disappointment. First of all, if you come without a reservation, expect waiting times, which I understand. Staff, however, is quite rude and not very helpful. Once there was a free table, no one informed us but we had to ask staff again.
Furthermore, the food was alright, highly overpriced, in my opinion. Our table was stuffed into a corner, with the A/C blasting in our faces. (However, at least we had a table!)
We ordered focaccia and the classic breakfast. I would generally recommend the focaccia, but beware - there are hidden costs.
The salmon focaccia was priced at $68, and, according to menu, if you order soup and coffee/tea with it, it's +$30. If you just order tea or coffee, it's +$10.
At least, that is written on the menu.
When presented the bill, the tea was +$40. When I asked for clarification, no answer was given. Staff just mentioned all prices again, but since I didn't order any soup, I don't quite understand where the +$40 comes from.
Overall, I'm quite disappointed by food, prices, atmosphere, and most of all service.
