As no dine in after 6pm, not alot of choice for places to celebrate a birthday. Was lucky to get a table at The Market in Hotel Icon. Had heard lots of good things about their buffet and was not disappointed with their lunch buffet.Was worried that due to the present situation that there would be limited offerings for food choices but there was a wonderful choice at all the food stations. The quality of the food was good and the service was attentive.
We liked how they offered different noodle dishes and Hainanese Chicken rice in mini size which meant we could try more and less waste.
The highlight was the Durian Dessert Festival with an array of desserts in all shapes and sizes for Durian lovers. The roulade was a favourite with a delicious creamy filling with strong durian flavour. The Godiva ice cream machine was also popular.
