After reading a magazine about the black udon, I gave it a try. I must say I am very impressed with its taste. The udon was firm and chewy, with a slight squid ink taste, and sauce that came with it was the best, vinegary and fragrant with sesame. The complimenting vegetables included mustard cress and cherry tomatoes. The udon was garnished with pieces of gold which tasted like gelatin.The cheese and sweetcorn gyoza is also worth ordering, since most places only do meat gyozas.
