Brunch tasting in Bricklane

I initially called to try an make a booking but was told that they only accept bookings for dinner. I arrived around 12:45 for walk-in and was seated by 1pm. The staffs were very polite but I was approached by atleast 3 different staffs while I was waiting - perhaps they need a system to distinguish the wait-list for walk-ins. The drinks:1) the Cafe latte Rose (large): it was quite pleasent though I would prefer my coffee without sugar (they had already sweetened it). 2) Iced latte (large): was

 3) The hot chocolate was served with two pieces of marshmallows which was so adorable! Would be a perfect winter drink.

 The food
1) Fish & chips: this is served with thick cut fries & salad and a side of tartar sauce and ketchup. While this dish is quite large and filling, nothing special struck me. It was quite average.

 2) Omelette: this is served with shoestring fries and salad which was not expected making it a lot more filling than anticipated. It comes with three fillings, we opted for cheese, bacon and mustrooms. The bacon seemed more like ham which is also another choice. We also went for the additional truffle paste was lifted the omlette, it was such a delight!

 3) French toast: This came with caramelised banana (YUM) and some bacon - the bacon seemed a bit out of place but I LOVE bacon so no complaints there.

 4) Eggs benedict: the yolk runniness was just as expected so no disappointment.

 Waitress accommodated for my special request for dessert (S'mores) as surprise. They even wrote a small message! The attentiveness really was such a delight. The S'mores was such a large portion. Though the menu says its good for 2, the 4 of us has a hard time finishing this after our mains. We were also given extra biscuit at no extra cost! We could've gone with one less main with this dessert coming at the end.

题外话/补充资料： It gets busier after 1pm so expect longer wait time. We personally prefer this to the smaller branch just around the corner (this one is right oposite Butao, TST).
